Yes, the Lord of Heavens likes His servants to be happy. Do you think that Salman, you like your children to be unhappy? [No] You are trying to make them happy. What about for the Lord of Heavens? He likes His servants to be unhappy? No! But we are escaping from happiness, as the biggest enemy of the children of Adam (as)—diabolo. Saddanas. Diabolos. We are fearing to say diabolo. That is the name of Saddanas, Shaitan. We are never using [the word] Diabolo, but for understanding we are saying it.

He created. One Creator.

Bismillahir Rahman ir Rahim—by the Name of Allah Almighty All-Merciful, Most Munificent and Most Beneficent, as we are knowing through prophets, through heavenly knowledge, we are knowing and believing that person, creature, as a man, was Adam, peace be upon him. And then the Lord of Heavens, the Creator, He created Eve from Adam. And He put them in Paradise , forever. But Saddanas made a trip and cheated the borders at the entrance of Paradise —cheated them and entered inside (by lies), and then cheated Eve and Adam and making them to be disobedient to their Lord’s Holy Commands. He was saying to them you must be free here! And you can enjoy yourself, through Eden , Jannata ‘Adnin—you should be everywhere free, you may go, eat, enjoy yourself, be happy here forever.

"Only I am the lord, Lord of Heavens, and Your Lord and Creator. I like My servants to be obedient to My commands, therefore I am making that tree not to be eaten by anyone. Everything in Paradise is halal, just granted to you—you may enjoy. But only that tree you must not come and eat."

Glory to Allah. There is an Attribute, but we may say “egoistic characteristic” for mankind. We like to reach something that is granted that is such a desire, secret desire, that we can’t carry to have a hindrance in our way. All of Paradise finishes, and they come in front of that tree, that forbidden thing for mankind. This is our egoistic characteristic. If you are preventing this, we are running towards it. And it was a trial from Allah Almighty to see whether really they were accepting His Lordship. Lordship only from One. There can’t be a second one. The Lord of Heavens can’t be two, three, four. No. Only one. And He was asking and He was going to try His servants to see whether they were really accepting His Lordship, and accepting also their servanthood. And He tried Adam and He was saying "I tried, but they are not successful. That was My trial, but they fell." The first man and first woman, they fell. Because they are not keeping the holy orders of their Creator, the Lord of Heavens, the Lord of Worlds, the Lord of everything. And they are coming here and… Paradise was so big! So big! As far as you can walk, you could not find a hindrance, because a hindrance or sadness of people—they are asking to reach beyond hindrance.

So why put in front of ourselves this wall and say “Up to here you may come, not beyond this.” That made them feel that they were in prison, although they were in Paradise . A paradise so big. But coming and saying "why this order in front of ourselves? Why did the Lord of Heavens put that hindrance? We like to pass over and to see what is there." That is man’s characteristic, or man’s egoistic characteristic. Therefore, they are leaving such a big Paradise , and coming and standing there, and saying to each other, Adam and Eve, "Why did our Creator prevent us from eating the fruit of this tree? Why? Why?" Heh! And, that was a chance for Shaytan to cheat Adam and Eve. Coming to them and saying, “Do you know why He is preventing you from eating that tree? For two reasons. One, if you eat that, you will be in Paradise eternally, never preventing you. And they were very sad."

And another point was, Shaytan saying to them, “Adam, you know why He prevented you from eating from that tree? Because that tree belongs to Him—no one else.” Making more size—giving big trouble to Adam and then Eve. Therefore, Allah, the Lord of Heavens, asked to declare to all creatures His Lordship. Only One Lord. There can’t be a second Lord. That is Lordship for Him, and servanthood for us. That is written from the beginning, that the Lord of Heavens sends to His messengers and saying the point that “I am sending them away from Paradise because they are not obeying My Lordship. They are not accepting My Lordship. They are also asking for Lordship. They are asking also to be lords.” No! The Lord of Heavens, the Lord of the whole of creation, that is one and that is higher, that one. You can’t be… Your station is the station of servanthood. But Shaytan coming and saying something else. “No—no no no… He is keeping that tree for Himself—that’s why He is preventing. Also, when you eat, you will be in Paradise forever, up to eternity. Eat, and don’t worry.”

The first man cheated by Shaytan, diabolo—and he was saying, when he came on earth, thrown away from Paradise and landing on Earth—he was taking an oath on his children, and saying to them, “O my generations, you must be very careful that from that tree, not to be against your Lord’s command.”
